We believe there is immense, untapped social and business potential in traditionally underrepresented communities. Colorwave is committed to driving economic freedom and closing the racial wealth gap by providing career opportunities to Black, Latinx and Native communities in the venture capital and startup ecosystems.
Colorwave will create a community for job placement,
career mobility and entrepreneurship for Black, Latinx, and Native professionals. By 2023, we will place 1,000 fellows in high growth startups and support the launch of 50 founders of color.
WHO WE LOOK FOR?
Professional of color, ideally Black, Latinx or Native
2-7 years of relevant work experience in a key business functional area
Enthusiasm and interest in the startup and innovation economy
Seeking future job transition to new employer, ideally with Colorwave partners
Capacity to participate in ~100% in program activities and events
Willingness to provide regular and helpful feedback on program
Interest in building community and network with fellow high potential professionals
